I won't deny that. I just know what I know and that of a proper upbringing.

I assume you mean an upbringing where the human body is considered to be indecent or dirty. I was born in the '50s, but my parents weren't prudes, and I thank them for not passing on that hangup.

Your assumption is false I too was born in the 1950's but there was a common sense to it in that there was a sanctimonious relationship between a man and a woman in marriage. To display nudity in any form was not consider dirty or thought to be of one to be prudish or pious but rather bad taste. Let me ask you a question, would you want to see your mother nude? Probably not . So with that said, I must get ready for church. Should I say a prayer for you as well? Because I do not begrudge you of your opinion and please respect me for mine. Good day.

I don't see your connection between nudity and religiously sanctified marriage or any other kind of marriage. Thankfully, I don't consider nudity in art to be in bad taste. The first recorded liturgy of baptism, written down by Saint Hippolytus of Rome in his 'Apostolic Tradition', required men, women and children to remove all clothing, including all foreign objects such as jewelry and hair fastenings. This practice is reflected in early Christian art depicting baptism. What nudity there is in films here at IA is just so quaint to me, not at all a turn-on, even if it was so intended by the producers.

I probably did see my mother, and other family members, in various states of undress, and vice-versa. I don't recall because they weren't shocked or angry about it, and neither was I. It wasn't made into a big deal. Now if a nude or scantily dressed woman was walking down the street, and I was post-adolescent, well that's a horse of a different color. I'm far too sensible to have hangups, and I thank my parents for a good start on that. Peace.
